Meet Jared Drew
I am a retired Disabled Marine Veteran. After several tours to Iraq my health started to deteriorate. But I was introduced to bee keeping. It is intensely therapeutic! The sound of the swarm of bees is very calming. I have come to love my little Bee Friends. It has truly changed my life in a positive way. It is amazing how hard working these little guys are. The end result of their work and dedication is the delicious and healthy food… Honey!
Recently my family and I moved here to the Upstate from Missouri to settle down and be with my mom and family. We are now living on a 45 acre tract of land in the Historic Heart of “The Dark Corner,” in Northern Greenville County right off Scenic Highway 11. It’s a blessing to live in such a beautiful part of South Carolina and in this Country.
My plan is to significantly expand my bee hive count and to grow my small but thriving honey business right here in South Carolina where there are bountiful sourwood plants and trees where some of the most sought after honey is produced.
When you get a chance research the many studies that show such beneficial properties of this golden miracle. Did you know that honey never goes bad? Amazing!
